The corp I belong to (the UKC) moved to Heydeiles about 2 months ago, and since then, a couple of corps have declared war on us, no doubt thinking we were a soft touch. We concentrate on mining quite a bit, but also have a very strong military arm. Anyway, both the previous times, the corps who declared war on us soon undeclared after they got a seriously bloody nose.
So, it didn't come as a huge surprise to find ourselves wardec'd again. This time by a 31 man strong corp called Genesis Knights. No-one really knows why they have declared war.
I got my little tush down to Heydeiles in my Probe, to start building ammo (as my other day job is ammo production) ASAP in the Factory. Once I started that, I realised I should've brought a bigger ship, as there was a lot of ammo that needed shifting to the Warehouse. I was busy shuttling back and forth when Nikek, our CEO, called us together for a gathering in a nearby system. He wanted us to bring our biggest ships.
Unfortunately, the Beezling IV, my Cyclone, was about 11 jumps away in Rens. I cursed inwardly, and realised I needed to shift my base of operations down to Heyd, bite the bullet, say goodbye to Alforen my level 3 agent, and come to Heyd permanently.
I raced back to Rens, fortunately it is a well travelled route, I had it Insta'd and my Probe is pretty quick.
Grabbed Beezling IV, and met with the others. The site of all our ships there was impressive indeed. The picture below is only a few of us, I couldn't get us all in!

So, we gathered about 20 or so of us, a motley collection of Battlecruisers, Battleships, Elite Frigs and so on. Some ships were newer than others, some had battle scars from earlier engagements, but we were a sight to strike fear into our enemy's hearts.
We knew that the enemy were in Oisio, their home system, so we departed. When we arrived there with no incident (who was going to take on a 22 strong fleet without prior preparation?), there wasn't much going on apart from a lone BS (I forget his name) taking on some pirates near the station. He looked like he had matters in hand so we left him to it.
Sure enough, before too long, a GK member called Betto undocked. I can only imagine his reaction at seeing us in a normally quiet system. We weren't officially at war yet so no-one could fire, but all 22 of us locked him in short time! None of them had anything clever to say on the local channel, which was a shame.
As soon as the guy finished his mission, Betto and another GK'er called Dave White (if I recall correctly) started stealing all his loot. Barefaced cheek. The guy, in local, said they do that all the time. So, the least we could do is get to all the loot before GK could, and then traded it back to him in the station. He was very grateful, and more importantly, it must've annoyed GK.
Suffice to say, we had made our point and withdrew.
As I write this, the war is now live, I took the opportunity before it was live earlier today by ferrying my stuff down to Heyd. So now I am there good and proper.
